I really, REALLY wanted to like this place. It is a Sports Bar kinda joint, super close to my home. Visited several times and just cannot like it. it seems as if there is a group of loyal folks that are there everytime, and I swear that one of our servers was drinking while they were serving us last time. Refills come few and far in between, even for beer, which you pay for the darn refill. Food is "eh" but the workers have never seemed unfriendly, just undedicated and un-motivated to actually work. They want to socialize with the bar crowd.

I definately recommend Backyard for Happy Hour! Huge plate of delicious appetizers and really good drink specials in fun atmosphere!

I have been going to Backyard Grill for five years and the food has always been excellent as well as the service. The staff is always freindly and on top of everything we may need. I just went and visted there new Manassas location and it is fabulous. It has a seperate dining area, as well as a dining area where you can watch all the sporting games on big screen TV's. What I enjoyed the most was you can still enjoy a good meal and not have to deal with all the different noises that some sport bars have on the tables. The best plus was that the resturant is smoke free in the dining rooms, with NO SMELL!! I reccomend this resturant to all family types!

Very good happy hour for drinks and food. Many specials go to 9:00 which is much better than most Happy Hours. Very good bartenders, prompt and personable. Have an outdoor area for Happy Hour in summer which makes for a lot more room.
